China Association of Automobile Manufacturers data show that on the morning of November 14, China's annual production of new energy vehicles exceeded 10 million for the first time, and it is also the world's first country with an annual production of 10 million new energy vehicles.

Statistics show that 2013 was the first year that China's new energy vehicle production and sales were included in the statistical system, and the output of that year was only 18,000. By 2018, the annual production reached the order of one million, and by 2022, the annual production reached more than five million, until today, for the first time exceeded the milestone of 10 million, with one and a half months to go before the end of the year, compared with the production of 9.587 million units last year, an increase of 4.3%. Experts expect the number to exceed 12 million by the end of the year.

In the past ten years, under the guidance of the national strategy, nearly 100 encouraging policies have been introduced, product technology has been updated and iterated, and infrastructure protection has been gradually improved, jointly promoting China's new energy automobile industry to achieve leapfrog development, from marketization, industrialization, to large-scale, globalization, and continue to move to a higher level. In the future, China's new energy automobile industry will not only achieve a leap in quantity, but also continue to break through in quality, contributing greater Chinese strength to the global new energy industry.
